Lac d’Orient
Flood regulation · low-flow support
48.2830, 4.3360How reservoir releases reach the river
Water leaves the Seine through an intake canal and enters Lac d’Orient. A separate release canal returns stored water through two branches around Troyes. Diversion can reduce flow during floods; releases can support the river during dry periods.

Current conditions
Dam and catchment reference
The mean flow is a WaterGAP/HydroSHEDS 1971-2000 model reference from Global Dam Watch, not today's inflow or release. Blank fields remain unfilled where no reviewed dam match exists.
